My fascination with painting people in nature comes from my upbringing in Oregon. The majesty of my home’s landscape has greatly influenced the content of my work.

I want to create a portal to a spiritual realm where the subjects are free to display unbridled human emotion oftentimes by performing ritualistic actions.
